Baltic Amber is considered the "warmest gem stone". It is ancient pine resin (NOT sap, by the way) that dates to 20-50 million years ago! It has been found in 250 documented colors (from clear to black and everything in between), from the shores of the Baltic Sea. There is a blue clay layer full of amber which is mined with water cannons, transported to a facility where it is cleaned, cut, and made for jewelry.
