This is an untreated Orange Spessartite Garnet with VS eye clean clarity, a well faceted oval that weighs 2.18 carat. It measures 6.3 x 5.6 x 4.3 mm and is slightly brownish, Fanta orange color. The RI is 1.78 and the origin is Africa.
Spessartite Garnet is also known as Spessartine Garnet. Garnet is the birthstone for January.
