What does "Diamond Etched" mean?

Diamond Etching is a specific technique used in engraving designs. Diamond Etched Engraving is also known as “Scratch Engraving” or “Diamond Drag Engraving.” This is because during the engraving process, a diamond engraver drags across the surface of the object to produce the engraved design.
