For presentation is a very pretty pair of Connemara marble dangle earrings set in solid sterling silver plated in platinum for strength and tarnish protection. These earrings are an inch and a half in length, each holding a 14x7mm marquise stone and a 7x5mm pear. They are bezel set in a solid sterling filigree design setting and hang from silver leverbacks. They are stamped 925 and signed on the back of each earring. Very lovely!
Connemara marble is a rare green gem rock with a mixture of serpentine and carbonates mined only in Ireland. The beautiful bands of rich color within the marble are formed by tiny crystals of green minerals like serpentine, diopside, and chlorite.
