Labradorite is a variety of Feldspar, originally discovered in Labrador in Canada, and is found in several countries, including Madagascar where these were mined. These earrings consist of a nice filigree/starburst style setting of 925 sterling silver with two large 14x10mm pear-shaped labradorite gemstones weighing 12.75 ctw. Pictures could not capture all the blue in these beautiful stones. The earrings measures well over 1-1/2 inches and are quite heavy at 10.2 grams. Very pretty!
