Vinyl plays with crackles and a few light-clicks, most noticeable near the end of "Not Like Mine" (play-graded). Cover looks great, a few noticeable creases near edges; light-scuffing, faint surface impressions, and small areas of discoloration (front/back). Black tape and surface abrasions near top-left on front and top-right on back. Inner-sleeve is original (Atlantic logo) with seams split near center. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge; heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Natalie, by R&B and soul singer Natalie Cole, reached No. 3 on the R&B Album Charts and No. 13 on the Top 200. The album features the hit single Sophisticated Lady (She's a Different Lady), which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles and No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. Mr. Melody is the first track and reached No. 10 on the R&B charts. Cole was the daughter of singer and jazz pianist Nat King Cole. She rose to prominence in the mid-1970s, with the release of her debut album Inseparable, along with the song This Will Be (An Everlasting Love). Its success led to her receiving the Grammy Award for Best New Artist at the 18th Annual Grammy Awards, for which she became the first African-American recipient, as well as the first R&B act to win the award.
