Stanadyne 22907 Throttle Shaft for diesel injection pump

(does not come with low idle and high idle screws.)

The Stanadyne 22907 Throttle Shaft is a component used in diesel injection pumps.

In a diesel engine, the injection pump is responsible for delivering fuel to the engine cylinders at the correct time and in the correct amount. The throttle shaft is a crucial part of the injection pump as it controls the amount of fuel being injected into the engine.

The Stanadyne 22907 Throttle Shaft is specifically designed to be used in diesel injection pumps. It is manufactured by Stanadyne, a reputable company known for producing high-quality fuel systems for diesel engines.

The purpose of the throttle shaft is to regulate the fuel flow based on the position of the throttle or accelerator pedal. When the driver presses the throttle pedal, the throttle shaft opens, allowing more fuel to be injected into the engine. Conversely, when the driver releases the throttle pedal, the throttle shaft closes, reducing the fuel flow.

The Stanadyne 22907 Throttle Shaft is designed to be durable and reliable, ensuring smooth and efficient fuel delivery to the engine. It is made from high-quality materials that can withstand the harsh conditions and pressures within the injection pump.

Overall, the Stanadyne 22907 Throttle Shaft plays a crucial role in the functioning of a diesel injection pump by controlling the fuel flow and ensuring optimal engine performance.
