• 1870s EAPG Frosted Ribbon pattern dolphin pedestal compote by the Bakewell Pears Co of Pittsburgh, PA
• Compote was reproduced by Fostoria Glass in the 960s for the Henry Ford Museum, the repros are marked with the letters HFM in a corner of the upper bowl, this one is not marked and has some straw marks and the general appearance of an old original piece
• Rectangular top, measures are 6 3/4" tall and the applied rectangular top is 8 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 1 5/8" deep
• Pre-owned, multiple chips to teeth on upper rim, one on the large side, small chip to the inner underside foot rim
