Very RARE and extremely beautiful Georgian to Early Victorian ring crafted in solid 15-17k yellow gold. set with one substantial natural dark blue spinel -approx 9.9x8.1mm and 4 substantial rose cut diamonds - approx 5x4mm N-S and 4.5x3.7mm E-W! the face of the ring approx 20.8x16.2mm! size is approx a little over 7.5- more like 7.65USA! as you can see at that time there were no standard sizes for the cut stones nor for finger size - the size of the ring was made exactly for the person who was supposed to wear it!

the settings for the diamonds look like made of lighter shade of gold. it looks white on the photos but it is not. or maybe the diamonds make the gold brighter with their shine!

the ring is substantial in size - the face of the ring approx 20.8x16.2mm! - please see how it looks when worn! very ornate hand made ring!!! the settings are very early type - this ring was made in Georgian to early Victorian era!

this ring would fit a Queen and probably belonged to some very wealthy and important woman at that time!

this ring is in very good antique condition with no problems! only wear to the spinel (age) but can be re cut (cost approx 150$). I did not want to take it to re cut the stone as it would lose its original condition. So the new owner can decide to recut the stone  or not. it looks very beautiful as is. all of the stones set very secure!
