This heated vest earned The Best rating from the Schlemmer Institute because it effectively generated heat and was the most comfortable. The Best Heated Vest produced an average rise in temperature of 12.4° F, 20.5° F, and 21.2° F on low, medium, and high settings respectively, unlike inferior models that lacked a low setting or generated as little as 8.3° F on medium and 10.8° F on high. The Best model’s rechargeable battery lasted (on average) over seven hours on the lowest setting and two hours on high, and its compact, removable battery pack has three power settings and recharges in three hours via the included AC adapter.
