This is an unusual nativity scene. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the angel are freestanding and can be placed anywhere on the base.
The base has several levels that are made to look like wide slate steps and the area near the back wall looks like lighter colored bricks. The surface of this piece is made to look old. The effect is of a scene in an open stable or other unroofed building. There is room for many more figures.
There are no labels or makers marks anywhere on any of the pieces, but the pieces are very well designed. I am including pictures in a window and against several backdrops.
CONDITION: Although this piece has been displayed, it is in very good condition with no damage or wear.
SIZE: The base is 8" by 8" and is 4 1/4" tall at the highest point of the wall. The figures vary from 2 3/8" to 3 1/4" tall.
