Fish keychain from Israel

This is a cute fish keychain from holyland.

In early rabbinical teaching we find that the fish has become a symbol of the pious swimming in the waters of Torah.

Fish are eaten on Rosh Hashana and symbolize our hope that the year will bring good fortune and success.

Furthermore, fish are also submerged under water and thus are protected aginst the evil eye.

Because fish lay many eggs they are also associated with fertility.

Size of fish: 65mm lenght or 2.5 inch.
