True, This great Throttle & Idle Cable kit will work on 1988 - 95 style Harley Big Twins & XL Sportsters fitted with the Stock CV or Most S&S Carburetors (Some S&S may need a new cable guide) but possibly could be used on a custom bike using the same set up as the 90-95 style CARBURETTED Harleys (See Pictures) These were stock Cables on Softail Springer models Late 1988/1989
