Brand new factory sealed 2 dvd set that is now Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats except pricey blu-ray. No frills dvd's that start right up, no menus either but the sourceprints are good, loaned by MGM for these Deuce Entertaiment releases.

These were a PG, rush-made releases in order to exploit and cash in on a new break dancing craze that was capturing headlines. And all the music that went along with it.

BREAKIN': Its a 'Flashdance' rip-off set in LA, Aldolfo "Shabba-Doo" Quinones and Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers teach a white waitress (Lucinda Dickey) to dance so she can win a contest. With Ice T in a harmless role that makes his later controversies very suspect.

BREAKIN' 2 Electric Boogaloo: In the tradition of 'Don't Knock the Rock' and its sequel 'Don't Knock the Twist'. The same main cast returns in a plot about developers threatening an LA community recreation center run by Boogaloo and Shabba-Doo. They put on a show to raise money, just like in 30s musicals. With Susie Bono, Ice T doing a lame rap, and a Tor Johnson mask.
