• Pink and Yellow Roses with Leaves and Stems on Green and Pale Yellow with Heavy Gold Decor

• Antique c. late 1800's - early 1900's

• Measurements: 10 5/8" by 7" and 2 3/8" high at the handle

• Weight, prepackaged: 15.5 oz

• Condition: The piece is free of chips, cracks, fleabites and repairs. There are no notable marks from use and storage. The gold is excellent with minor if any wear even on the handles. There is light shelf wear on the bottoms as expected. The hand painted designs are superb with great use of color and planning.

The bottom is marked "Limoges, W G, & Co, France" in green, mark style 4 which was used from 1891 to 1932. The piece is signed "JLB" in brushed gold near the handle. The piece was reportedly given as a wedding gift in 1906 and we have several other pieces in similar design by the same artist on various blanks (mostly Limoges with a few Bavarian) dating to the same period. It's a gorgeous design and beautiful tray with great detail. It will make a fantastic addition to any Limoges collection.
