Brand new factory sealed dvd is Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being manufactured. Licensed by MGM to Deuce Entertainment, these are no frills disc that has no menus or special features. The pop-n-go video automatically starts up the movie. At least it sports a good widescreen sourceprint.

Ingenious screenplay combines several criss-crossing sub-plots. A veteran cop (Bronson) is the target of not only a gangland boss, one of whose 'family' he has killed, but of a crazed murderess (Carrie Snodgress), newly freed from jail, who is lethally avenging herself on those responsible for her incarceration; when Snodgress frames Bronson for one of her murders he becomes wanted by the police as well.

The treatment combines the hi-tech violence of car chases and explosions with hints of the forties in the 'psychological' subplot, and the climax is a commandingly handled shoot-out in a labyrinthe office building. The picture manages to pack in some oddball humour via the relationship between untalkative Bronson and the teenage delinquent (Kathleen Wilhoite) who reluctantly becomes his helpmate.
