Offer for sale is a 1979 South Africa 1 rand .917 fine gold coin custom pendant. This piece features a 22K coin with a 14K rope style bezel with a dangling italian horn piece with a shimmering diamond accent. Truly a one of a kind, custom made piece.
 
The Gold Krugerrand coin has enjoyed worldwide popularity, and this 1 rand coin is a great way to get a beautiful Krugerrand design at a lower price point. Fractional rand coins feature a piece of South African history with pure Gold bullion appeal.

Obverse: Depicts a bust of Jan van Riebeck, Dutch founder of Cape Town, South Africa.
Reverse: A rendition of a Springbok, similar to the design on the Krugerrand.

Weight: Coin weighs 6.7 grams, bezel and horn weighs 4.1 grams. Whole piece weighs 10.8 grams total.

Stones: Diamond accents

Size & Measurements: Pendant is 1 1/2 inch long (with bale). Centerpiece has a 1 1/8 inch diameter. Fits up to a 3mm chain.

Metal Purity: Coin is .917 fine gold (22K). Bezel and horn are 14K yellow gold.

Hallmark: The bale is hallmarked "14K", and has been fully tested for purity.
