Easy to grow evergreen perennial. Can be started indoors in winter 6-10 weeks before your region's last frost to be transplanted outside in spring. Or, can be sown directly into the ground in spring or summer. Carnation picotee mix is a well known variety that combines all good qualities together in a single flower seed mix.
