Exceedingly rare chapbook published by Samuel Wood & Sons and featuring 3 full-page woodcut engravings by Alexander Anderson (the tell tale "AA" is visible in the lower right side or corner on each). No date, but similar chapbooks (same story) were published in London in 1825. Anderson is known as "America's First Illustrator". He produced woodcut engravings for books, periodicals, and newspapers. 
 

Publisher's flexible printed blue card boards. 34 pages plus 2 pages of publisher's advertising. 5.5" x 3.5". 

Very rare - could not find another listed online or in the World Catalog.

I normally ship at three times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. At end of auction, contact is expected within three days and payment is due within 5 days of auction close (10 for overseas bidders). Non-paying bidder notice after that time and item re-listed. Where possible, Delivery Confirmation (package tracking) is used and incorporated into the mailing price. Tracking is not available on international orders. Florida residents must pay 6% sales tax.
