Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930's boxing-themed comedy romance, THE KID FROM KOKOMO, released in 1939 by First National Pictures and directed by Lewis Seiler. A fight promoter finds his fighter, Wayne Morris, in the sticks, a country hick left by his mother when he was young and he won't leave his home as he is still waiting for her to return to him. Promoter, Pat O'brien cons him into coming with him by telling him the exposure in the papers will help him find her. O'Brien later hires an old drunk woman (May Robson), to play the part of "mom". The cast includes Joan Blondell, Jane Wyman, Stanley Fields, Maxie Rosenbloom, Sidney Toler, Edward Brophy, and Winifred Harris.

The image features an interior scene depicting William "Billy" Jennings (Pat O'Brien), Doris Harvey (Joan Blondell), and Margaret/Maggie (May Robson) as the three watch an older gentleman hand his top hat and walking stick to a butler. It is in near-fine condition with two 1 in. vertical creases in the top left corner; two small creases on the top right corner; a tiny nick on the bottom right corner; and a 0.5 in. diagonal chip and light signs of wear on the bottom left corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
