The Spirit of Liberty Moon Summary:
This two-hour movie orginally aired May 17, 1998, as an episode of the weekly CBS dramatic series Touched by an Angel. Bai Ling stars as Jean Chang, a Chinese woman who flees to America after the 1989 Tiananmen Square riots. Frightened and disillusioned, Jean has lost her faith in mankind -- and, more crucially, her inner strength. It is up to angel caseworkers Monica (Roma Downey) and Tess (Della Reese) to restore Jean's faith and resilience. At the time of its original release, The Spirit of Liberty Moon was hailed as one of Touched by an Angel's most perceptive and compelling episodes.
Amazing Grace Summary:
In this second feature-length adventure based on the CBS series, angels Downey and Reese support the occupants of an inner-city strip mall in their attempts to persuade the block's new owner to not sell off their location.
A Salute To Heroes Summary:
Two special Touched By An Angel episodes, featuring special guest stars Rosa Parks and Dr. Sally Ride. In "Black Like Monica," Monica seeks help from civil rights hero Rosa Parks when she experiences discrimination firsthand. "Godspeed" has a guest appearance from Dr. Sally Ride as an astronaut who help a fellow astronaut get the courage for a mission.
