Queen Victoria Penny dated 1858. Made at the TOWER OF LONDON by the Royal Mint. Condition 'Very Fine'.



Struck more than 160 years ago, before the US Civil War, still in the early years of Victoria's reign, just 4 years after the Charge of the Light Brigade. A piece of history as the last production of the Penny took place in 1970 and the last pennies with Queen Victoria's head were dated 1901.



We just one of these pennies and the penny supplied will be as the photograph, in remarkable condition.



Known as a 'Copper', the first copper penny was issued in 1797 through until 1859, in 1860 the penny was changed to bronze.
