Why am i not getting any views from bonanza

My shop is only a week old, so I’m not exactly expecting millions of views from Bonanza, but so far the only views I’ve gotten have come from my direct links, i.e., from the marketing I’ve done on Instagram and Reddit.

My titles are descriptive, non-repetitive, and comprehensive. My photos are great. I’ve used the built-in fields for condition, brands (handmade), etc. I’m offering free shipping. I’ve chosen the 13% tier for marketing. Yet not a single view.

Any advice on what I’m doing wrong or not doing at all would be greatly appreciated.

It takes awhile to get into google search. Also right now customers are focusing on back to school,

You need to advertise at least at the 9 oct fee level (which you are doing already ) to get into Google shopping but pretty much What you are already doing is what brings you traffic here. i

@Atomicdiner So am I just lacking time and perhaps inventory level? At present, I only have like nine items.

The MORE items and varity you have here, the more chances you have that someone out there will find something they like from you. It takes a while here as it is not an auction site with listings that expire Urgency and Bonz is STILL NOT a Dest for people to come to first (sad but true).

there are rarely internal links from bonanza it self..almost all views come from google shopping or any links posted on social media or advertising links or affiliate links

Your pens are very nice. Here is food for thought, any pens that are masculine or feminine, use them as keywords. Do not worry about unnecessary punctuation in your titles. Instead, use the extra spaces for keywords.

EmpressDepot says: September 15, 2020

Do not forget to always include the color…if a color can be given to one of your pens. Put the color in your title, description, and as an attribute.

As a buyer on the internet, for the URL I am about to give, I would be thinking the pen holder is included. If it is not, make sure to mention this in your description and if it is included, make sure to mention.

Here is the listing I am referring to https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Green-Dyed-Box-Elder-Burl-Wooden-Ballpoint-Pen-Uses-Cross-Refills-/894937506

Bargain Hunter…they are also focusing on back to work….lol. just kidding…..sort of.

Also, one of your listings made sure to say how the pen opens, which you stated was by turning the bottom. Include in all of the descriptions of your listings how the pen opens. Be consistent throughout all of your listings. [URL removed] You have really given yourself a great start and beyond that. I like..

how you are telling me how the pen was made and it gives me an idea on why I should appreciate paying the price.

I would love to have you do a review. How do I initiate that?

Beautiful pens, but if anyone else is like me they will quickly misplace it. The advice from the other sellers is good – especially the comment about having a variety of items for sale.

The lack of feedback on your account may hinder you a little bit, as some buyers might see you as a brand new seller with little to no experience. Yes, I know you are caught in that trap of “I can’t get experience if I don’t get a sale and I can’t get a sale if I don’t have experience.”

Do all the social media exposure you can to promote your items – especially before Christmas. I think your items would be perfect as a gift to a company executive (and if I was still one of those, I’d buy one for myself (and make sure that I didn’t misplace it).

Good luck.
