Robotic responses to enquiries?

Why does Bonanza send robotic email responses to my enquiries for parts I did not receive and pass the onus on the sellers?

I’m fairly positive that the form letter that Bonanza uses in situations like yours suggested that you contact the seller of the item directly, since all transactions are strictly between the buyer and seller. Bonanza has no part in collecting any funds (besides any sales tax where required) and no part in shipping the item(s). So, the message you received would be the first logical step. This eliminates the “middle” man and usually results in buyer satisfaction.

Contact the seller to inquire about your transaction, delivery time, failure to deliver, etc. and if you get a satisfactory response — GREAT. If not, then it is suggested that you contact your payment source (usually PayPal, but could be others) to initiate any claim (INR, SNAD, etc.) you may have against the seller’s failure to deliver or complete the transaction to your satisfaction. That is what Bonanza’s Buyer Protection is all about.

Bonanza is only a selling platform.
You are purchasing from a seller that sells on this platform.

You need to contact that seller to find out where your item is. Check the tracking number with the Post Office website.

Remember, Covid has produced a lot of problems and that includes slow shipping times. Post office/ Fed Exp / UPS all have a way to clear their parcels to keep their employees safe and it slows up the process.
Be patient.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
