I don’t like to squint my eyes trying to see somthing for sale. I can see CAPS perfectly. Why are so many and google against it? It’s so much easier to read!

Hello
Welcome to the Bonanza Community!
Here is information from our Help pages that may help.
This is found in our “Tips and Tricks for Writing the Perfect Item Title”
“Use all capital letters in your item title. This can give your item titles an aggressive and overbearing impression. Typing in all caps screams “LOOK AT ME,” which can often have the opposite effect. In addition, Google Shopping does not allow items with titles in all caps."

For most people, all caps is harder (and slower) to read than lower case with proper capitalization. Google’s playground, Google’s rules.

Well its not shouting unless you are writing to someone BUT in advertising it does make the item STAND OUT… just like those two words did.

I’d recommend learning how to use your computing devices, better. One can magnify text on screen (even set the default text size), or adjust your monitors screen resolution; all of which will have the desired outcome for you… and us by extension.
Frankly, Google doesn’t care about your feelings. And, when people drone on and on about an issue they’re having, others around them care less and less, the more said person prattles on.

My guess is, Google prefers that all the titles look alike so there is equal attention paid to each. They know that ALL CAPS STAND OUT. Won’t allow anyONE to have an ADVANTAGE over the others! Although they might start charging EXTRA FOR ALL CAPS in the future! LOL
I agree all caps isn’t considered “yelling” in print advertising. It’s an effective tool in advertising, quite popular and widely used by all.

I personally used to like using all caps way back when except Google decided they did not want them and I had to conform.

- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
