How do i do a search by keywords that i don't want?

For example, if I do a search for an iPhone SE, I get a million—well, not that many, but you get my idea—cases that will fit the iPhone SE. This even when narrowing my search to phones only.

With some websites you can put “-case” in your search to eliminate results with that word in the title, but it doesn’t seem to work here.

How do I filter search results with keywords that I don’t want in the item description?

narrow results by using categories

After you do the “iphone se” keyword search, then I’d narrow it by [URL removed] Look under “Category” on the left of the search results, and hover your mouse over “cell phones & accessories” – you’ll see there are two [URL removed] “cell phone accessories” and “cell phones & smartphones”. Select the “cell phones & smartphones” category – looks you only have a few dozen items to go through there.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
