Join Bonanza's 2nd Annual Seller Advisory Panel

Last May, Bonanza created a Seller Advisory Panel consisting of 13 sellers with a variety of business models to help guide us in applying our resources where sellers need them most. We committed to listening to you - our seller community - and you responded by providing an outpouring of valuable insights. This group proved to be extremely helpful in identifying what was most important for us to work on during the year they served on the panel, and we are excited to get the next group elected!

Here is a list of accomplishments we were able to achieve based on the feedback received from our first panel:

  • Improve the eBay Importer’s importing and sync functionality
  • Increase visibility for Bonanza ads in Google Shopping
  • Improve Support service response times and instructions
  • Support additional payment processors in addition to PayPal by offering Stripe to all sellers
  • Help sellers fix listings disapproved by Google Shopping

We still have more to do, and the panelists were invaluable in helping us prioritize important upcoming improvements.

Join our Seller Advisory Panel

Listening to our sellers' feedback is the best opportunity we have to consistently enhance our marketplace. Now that we've worked with an advisory panel this past year, we know that it can be an excellent way to collaborate with our sellers and develop a best-in-class value proposition for you. We are creating a new Seller Advisory Panel, and we are looking for sellers that are interested in participating. Members of the group will have a hand in:

  • Providing feedback on how you use the site
  • Providing feedback on theories and potential changes to the site proposed by Bonanza
  • Reviewing feature requests/modifications to improve our seller experience with data-driven feedback
  • Provide insights into the broader e-commerce selling experience

What are the requirements?

As a member of the panel, you would spend up to one hour per quarter answering surveys, providing feedback, and possibly testing new features. Membership in the panel will be a commitment of one year.

If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and a bit of your time, please apply! There are no minimum requirements to qualify. We will be accepting applications for one week, closing June 16, 2021. Selected participants will be notified the following week. The free month of Titan membership will be applied at the end of one year (July 2022). We'll apply your badge and tokens upon joining.

We have some experienced and helpful sellers here on Bonanza, and we appreciate the feedback we've been given over the years. We want to expand on it to ensure we are moving in a direction that is consistent with your needs. Thanks to all who apply!

Since I joined Bonanza, I never looked back. The best part of Bonanza for me is that I only have to load things once and it will stay until it sells unlike most other sites that gives you an expiry date on your products once you put them up. Thank you Bonanza

As a member of the first advisory panel, I can attest it was a lot of fun, very rewarding, really wonderful to feel “heard” and be able to voice our opinions and see actual change based on things we as sellers felt we really needed.
I wish the next panel much luck and success, and I wish I could re-apply, it was really a blast!! Thanks for all the hard work you all do at Bonanza!!

Thanks, I started with ebay 1-10-98, before they had images. I tried Etsy for 6 months and sold 1300 items. Now I am doing Bonanza & Facebook. Trying each! Thanks/Jay

I was wondering if we could give input WITHOUT becoming a panel member? Because I have one suggestion (as of right now): I was wondering if there was a way that we could GET POSITIVE feedback from BONANZA even when a buyer doesn’t leave us feedback (as long as they don’t give us neg. feedback)? I don’t seem to get feedback from my buyers (well, very few of them). Ed

Hi Ed! Yes there is! You can add your idea to our Feature Request page here: https://support.bonanza.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/200687868-Feature-Requests
You can also use our After-Sale message option. It’s in your Booth Settings under Payments & Purchases. It is your own personal message that will be automatically sent to your buyers when they place an order. You can use this to thank them for their order, let them know when to expect it, and ask them to leave feedback once it’s received.

Hi Nature4u! We’re so sorry to hear you have not had any sales. We looked at your booth and see that you don’t have any traits on your listings, including brand and condition. Please log in to your booth, point to Selling at the top left of the page and in the dropdown menu click on Batch Edit Items. In the toolbar there click on Update Items as a Group, then click on Item traits. Select all items and click on the green button “Edit traits for all filtered items”. You will have created a list of all your items and the traits associated with the category you selected. Just fill in your traits and save at the bottom of the page. We have been in business nearly 40 years. I am a certified appraiser, and wrote a column on antiques for 29 years. My book, The Antique Story Book is based on those columns. We are only on Bonanza less than a year, and have only sold one item. I typed in google our English Silver Tea Urn and it turned up nowhere, not even in the “view all” reservoir. I am concerned if my items are getting exposure. Please advise. Thanks, Arthur Schwerdt.

Hi Arthur! Sorry to hear you didn’t get the expected results in your Google search. I typed in the same phrase and your item was third in Google Shopping’s list. (Be sure to search using Google’s “Shopping” tab). There were a few items that were not showing up because the listing had been unchanged for over a year and no one had clicked on the ad on Google. In this case, all you have to do is update your listing by adding text or changing the price. (I used the batch editor to add this text to the end of those listings: “Thank you for shopping with us!” on your behalf.) All your items are approved.
