Bonanza's Discount Shipping Labels

Did you know we offer a discount shipping label program that makes it possible to purchase and print labels right from Bonanza? We know from talking with our seller community that minimizing busy work and reducing postage fees are equally important to you. That's why we offer this program. It's also why we teamed up with postage provider, Stamps.com, to offer savings of up to 15% below retail USPS pricing.

Significant Value

  • Up to 15% below retail USPS pricing

  • Orders automatically Marked as Shipped and the buyer notified

  • Tracking number added to order automatically

Where can I find the Bonanza postage-printing feature?

First, celebrate your sale! Then, when you view the order in "Items Sold," you’ll see the option as “Buy shipping.” It’s located right next to the links you already use to mark items as shipped. (Screenshot on left)

You can also purchase a shipping label directly from the email you received announcing the new sale. Simply click on the "Purchase Shipping Label" button in the email. (Screenshot on right)

It's as simple as 1..2..3!

We don't want to spoil the joy of having a new sale with the chore of buying postage, so we made it as simple as 1, 2, 3. All you need is a standard computer printer to make postage-paid labels without ever leaving your Selling dashboard.

  1. Click "Buy Shipping" at bottom of the order on your "Recent sales" page. Enter the package type, weight, dimensions, and the shipping date and select which USPS mail service to use.
  2. Click "Continue" to check the cost or add safeguards.
  3. Click "Purchase" to generate labels ready for printing.

That's it! We'll automatically mark the order as shipped and add the tracking number to the order, notifying your customer that their item is on its way.

Shipping Funds

Want to save even more money? Minimize credit card fees by setting up a shipping fund in your account. Pre-paying to your Bonanza shipping fund means you save money by not paying a card fee on every label.

Make quick work of shipping

Purchasing shipping labels directly from Bonanza takes the busy work out of the process so you can get your packages out the door. We think you'll enjoy the discount pricing as well!

Happy Bonanzling!

HerbsHerbs says: 07/21/20 at 14:35:45

Can I use PayPal to pay for the shipping labels?

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 07:35:21

Hi HerbHerbs, currently PayPal is not an option for paying for a shipping label on Bonanza. Thanks for asking, and if it becomes an option we’ll let you know.

vintagedepot says: 07/21/20 at 15:21:17

Are the shipping prices comparable to Paypal or Pirate Ship?

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 07:37:21

We have not extensively researched their rates on different packages sizes and methods, so we can’t say for sure. We compare pricing with USPS directly, which can be a savings of up to 15%. Thanks for asking!

CandlesR4us says: 07/21/20 at 15:35:02

Nice, thank you!

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 07:40:03

You’re welcome, CandlesR4us! We hope you find it saves you time and money.

sparkleize says: 07/21/20 at 15:52:24

I always made shipping labels right from paypal since there was no savings on shipping here. So, maybe now I will just make my shipping labels from Bonanza. Will have to give it a try. Thanks

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 07:41:20

Hi sparkleize! Let us know how you like our shipping label service after you’ve given it a try.

EmpressDepot says: 07/21/20 at 16:09:52

Cool.

So to clarify, we keep funds in our Bonanza shipping account, get a sale, print directly within Bonanza using stamps.com service and receive a discount in shipping up to 15 percent off?

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/27/20 at 06:47:54

Hi EmpressDepot,
Yes, stamps.com prices for shipping from Bonanza are up to 15% off of regular USPS prices. The shipping fund will prevent any credit card fees. There is still a small fee for printing the label, which is waived for members.

Mike212 says: 07/21/20 at 16:30:13

15% Sounds Great

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 08:22:36

Hi Mike212! Yes, for sure. We’re always on the lookout for ways to save our sellers time and money.

Great blog, all sellers should print their own labels, not only do they save money but a massive amount of time of waiting at the post office, and most places you can even request for free pick up from your home from your postal service.

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 07:43:52

Thanks, TurtleCreamBeans!

The_Desert_Flamingo says: 07/21/20 at 18:15:44

Is USPS your only option? So far I haven’t been able to cross-post any of my larger or heavier items because I don’t remember seeing a discounted FedEx or UPS shipping choice. Am I just not seeing it?

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 08:10:03

Hi The_Desert_Flamingo! We don’t have that option at this time, but the interest is noted!

novaresto6769 says: 07/21/20 at 19:56:48

GlenHoward says: 07/21/20 at 21:20:26

Great, but they print weird, need to them to work with Lable printers

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 08:20:55

Hi GlenHoward, the Lable printers can be challenging, but we do have some tips here: https://support.bonanza.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044430692-Change-Shipping-Label-Size

sharafico says: 07/22/20 at 02:12:20

Do you have any programmes for companies that are based outside of the US that are on your site like ourselves?

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 08:19:05

Hi sharafico, thanks for your comment. We do not yet have a shipping program for sellers outside of the US. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ChipsAndGames says: 07/22/20 at 06:32:51

This is a nice addition. Hopefully the discount will be better than what is offered by our shipping software. I am looking forward to comparing the discount.

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/22/20 at 08:17:51

Hi ChipsAndGames, thank you. We hope the discount we provide along with the ease of use works well for you.

pansyloved says: 07/22/20 at 07:47:56

that’s great! will I also still have to pay the 90 cent fee to Bonanza for using this service?

BonanzaJudy says in response: 07/23/20 at 12:10:51

Hi, pansyloved

Great question. The processing fee can be reduced right at half by using the shipping fund instead of individual label charges. Just set up your shipping fund and then charge the labels to the fund. The cost will then be about half, IF you still have questions just shoot off an email to support. Support will be most happy to help you.

mandm_sales says: 07/22/20 at 08:05:37

PlaytimeRemembered says: 07/22/20 at 17:38:24

Hello,
I’ve never printed my own labels before. Does the label printing program work with Thermal printers like Rollo, Dymo or Zebra? That would be zero ink costs. Or do I have to use a standard computer label printer that uses ink cartridges? The label has the tracking number on it right? So then … after the package is ready to ship, then I would just drop it off at the USPS? Silly question huh?

BonanzaBrandon says in response: 07/23/20 at 13:50:49

Hi PlaytimeRemembered! I’m Brandon, a Happiness Producer on Bonanza. Answering questions is my job and they are all good, so thanks for asking about printing labels. You can use a Thermal printer or a computer label, you will just need to adjust the settings to format correctly. We have more instructions on that here: https://support.bonanza.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044430692-Change-Shipping-Label-Size. Attach the label to your package and drop it off at the post office. We will automatically post the tracking number for you and notify the buyer that it’s been shipped. If you need any additional assistance we’re always happy to help at [email protected].

BonanzaJudy says in response: 07/23/20 at 14:04:53

Hi PlaytimeRemembered

Excellent question. Not the least bit silly at all.

Yes it does work with thermal printers BUT let me clarify. Right now you do have to fiddle with the printer settings so the label is the correct size. Printer settings and the settings in the Print on the browser both. Once configured then you got it licked

You can also choose to just use regular 8-1/2″ × 11″ copy paper, cut out the label (or fold it over) and tape to your box. Then drop off at the Post Office.

HerbsHerbs says: 07/23/20 at 18:14:07

Do I have to set up a shipping fund on Bonanza? Is there any other way to pay for the label printing besides that?

BonanzaJudy says in response: 07/24/20 at 08:38:50

HI HerbsHerbs

Thank you for asking. Bonanza offers two ways to pay for shipping labels

1) Shipping fund
Shipping fund label processing fee is less

2) Credit card charge for each individual label.
Credit card charge for individual labels carries a higher processing fee.

I hope that helps!

mr_todak says: 07/23/20 at 18:27:39

nice

BonanzaShelly says in response: 07/27/20 at 07:00:57
