Description
This is a white porcelain blue-eyed Persian cat figurine with gray shading. The only mark is H1514 on the bottom. This the Lefton mark for this cat; the red paper Lefton tag is missing. The ribbon bow at the neck was added by the prior owner. I didn't remove it because I thought it was pretty. It isn't glued in place and could be removed very easily.
SIZE: This figurine is 5" wide and about 5 1/2" tall.
BACKGROUND: I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had several thousand figurines (including several hundred owls), many figural boxes and paperweights, and huge glass and china collections from many different makers. I'll be listing more things from this purchase over the next several weeks. NOTE: There were so many items in this collection that many were never displayed; to save space, none of the original boxes were retained.
