This is an estate find - a mostly unused 1950’s desk organizer in bright red with black and gold fleur de lis. The only writings in this are the notation shown in photo 6. It’s just been sitting in a drawer for years and has some slight discoloration in the gold trim in spots and a subtle bow to the back so it doesn't lay completely flat. The retro calendar was made in Japan for the Lobeco Co. and was made in a time when Sundays wouldn’t be scheduled, so they only include the other six days of the week in the calendar. When opened it measures about 18" x 6 1/4” and when closed it measures about 8 3/4" x 6 ¼". A really nice and unusual mid-century piece.
