This is a lovely vintage clear rhinestone leaf shaped brooch or pin. It has exceptional workmanship and is studded with gorgeous shiny rhinestones. At the tip of the stem is another stone. This is most likely from the 1930s or 1940s. It is unsigned. Some of the stones are put in at an angle and overlap each other. I believe it was made that way to give it additional dimension, the stones are also two different sizes. You can see this clearly in the enlarged photographs.

The brooch is in very good vintage condition. The gold tone metal has a lovely old patina to it, yet it still has a lovely shine. It almost looks like brass (I will not polish it; I leave that up to you as it is a matter of personal preference). All the rhinestones are intact and the safety clasp on the back works just fine. The brooch measures approximately 1 5/8 inches long from the stem to the tip of the leaf and 1 inch wide. It weighs .4 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 11.33 grams.

This lovely elegant brooch with the classic style would make a perfect Valentine’s Day present. This dainty and feminine brooch would also be great for a bride on her wedding day, "Something Old” to wear on a Bridal Gown.
