This is a gorgeous and unusual dimensional gold tone metal pin of a sighthound dog. It appears to be a Russian Wolfhound or Borzoi; but it could be a Saluki or Afghan.  It captures the graceful and elegant stance of this regal looking dog. It has lovely details including the lifelike face and a collar around the neck. It measures approximately 1 1/8 inches in length and stands 1 inch tall.

It is in very nice vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I believe that some time over the years it has been repainted with gold paint, you can see some very slight finish wear on the back and front where the metal shows through, but you only see it with magnification and even then it is hard to find.  The rollover clasp works just fine. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the detail better than I can describe.

This is the perfect pin for any dog fancier. It is a lovely gift for a breeder, show judge or your favorite Veterinarian. If you are owned by one of these lovely dogs, you will enjoy wearing this to show off your breed, especially at the next dog show you attend. Great for a man or a woman and would be gorgeous pinned to a jacket lapel or on a dress, scarf, purse or hat.
