• Condition: The pot has a small flake off the glaze underneath the outer rim as photoed. The balance of the pot and lid are free of chips, cracks, crazing and fleabites, including the underside of the lid, the lid catch and inner rim. The gold is excellent with minor wear on the tip of the finale and bottom, front of the spout. The interior is exceptionally clean with no signs of use including around the strainer holes. There are no notable marks from use and storage. The bottom has light shelf wear as expected.
The pot is marked "H&Co" in green underglaze, mark D, which was used between 1876 and 1886. Both the lid and pot are bullseye decorator marked "Haviland & Co. Limoges" in black, mark g, used between 1879 and 1889. It's in fantastic condition and will make a great addition to any Haviland collection.
