Vintage 1972 Page from Department of Defense (DOD) Pacific Stars & Stripes Newspaper features a center photo about the Korea Yongsan Snack Bar collecting donations by the NCO Wives Club for a recent flood disaster. The ladies on the left in the photo are wearing large round sunglasses and the woman on the right (my mother) is wearing a polyester mini-dress tunic with a hand written note indicating she is wearing matching shorts underneath.
There is also an article about the Department Of Defense Schools in Korea & Japan having New Programs Adopted (one of these schools I was attending in Seoul, Korea) and one about the 36th Engineer Group having donated the building of a trade school for the Kwang Myuong Orphanage in Korea.
