This OEM Replacement Part is a secondary dual water inlet valve compatible with Whirlpool refrigerator models. It controls water flow to both the ice maker and water dispenser. When activated by an electrical signal, the valve opens to allow the proper amount of water into the refrigerator then closes again when finished. The dual inlet design separates the water supply for ice-making and drinking.

This valve provides a solution for issues like leaking, no water dispensing, or ice maker problems. Installation involves disconnecting water lines and electrical connectors. No special tools are required but be sure to shut off the water supply and unplug the refrigerator before replacing the old valve. Proper valve operation is critical for ice and water functionality.
