Vinyl plays with some crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Gate-fold cover looks great, a few creases near edges; light scuffing (front/back); some surface abrasion on back near left center. Inner-gate has very light scuffing. Inner-sleeve is original (lyrics/photos); three seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Little shelf-wear along bottom-edge, slightly more noticeable wear along top edge and corners; back cover top and bottom edges have come unglued. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Simple Dreams is one of the most successful albums of Linda Ronstadt's career, spending five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart. Simple Dreams was Ronstadt's fifth consecutive million-selling Platinum album. At the 20th Grammy Awards John Kosh won the Grammy Award for Best Recording Package for Simple Dreams. The album was such a success that Ronstadt became the first female artist ever, and the first act overall since The Beatles, to have two singles in the Top Five at the same time: the Platinum-certified Blue Bayou (peaked at No. 2) and It's So Easy (peaked at No. 5).
