Album Notes Personnel: Peter Simpson (vocals, background vocals); Luci Martin, Linda Clifford (vocals); Tony Remy, Tim Cansfield (guitar); David Williamson, Simon Willescroft (horns); Michele Chiavanni, Graham Harvey, Jessica Lauren, Matt Cooper (keyboards); Thomas Dyani (percussion); Weston Foster (background vocals). Veteran UK electronic producer and DJ Dave Lee (aka Joey Negro) regroups with his supa- talented muso mates to reform London's magical live nu-funk and boogie cult hybrid, The Sunburst Band. Members are culled from the funkiest ends of Incognito, Jamiroquai and the Kyoto Jazz Massive. They serve up a sparkling antidote to much of the tripe with with all the funkier genres of 80's boogie, Disco, Jazz Fusion, Go Go as well as some lurvely downtempo tunes. As you'd expect from a band used to working only with the best and wearing their solid funk stripes with pride, the towering Afro-ed frontman Pete Simpson is joined on the album by the original Chic gals Norma Jean and Lucy Martin and the ever soulful Linda Clifford among others. Many of the CD's were purchased over the years from used CD stores which may have polished or buffed the CD's to look like new. For most of them I am unable to tell which ones have been polished as they look like new to me.

All CD’s come in a plastic jewel case that was not broken or cracked when sent to you. I take care and put it between cardboard and in a bubble envelope. However, depending on the postal worker, jewel cases can get broken. They are cheap to replace, about 40 cents each. If your CD jewel case arrives broken please do not hold it against me. Thank you.
