Ahrems  "GOOD-LINE" TOOL MADE IN GERMANY

Nice engravings very ornate from the days when tools were made to look good as well as function perfectly     This is in working order –still functional, spring tension still good, no adjustment screws seized or cross threaded.  Can use it when it is in your hand for the purpose it was manufactured 100 years ago.  You slide the little stop in or out to set the tooth depth and then, with the blade sideways, you tilt the tool so the tip of the top jaw and the base of the bottom jaw are hard against the saw plate. Using the screw attached to the spring you then adjust the amount of set you want for your saw. As you squeeze the handle the little beak pushes the tooth down.
