This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PAIR of 2-STONE COCKTAIL EARRINGS that was HANDMADE in the ART DECO period of the 1930s. They are made from PLATINUM with 18K yellow gold posts and closing levers.
The earrings are prong-set with 2 OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. 1 carat each, along with 2 bezel-set 2 OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .90 ctw. All of these diamonds are in the H-I-J color range with I2 clarity. These diamonds are the IDEAL I2 CLARITY DIAMONDS as they are EYE-CLEAN and WHITE & BRIGHT with GREAT SPARKLE! One of the top diamonds has a bezel chip, but you need magnification to see it. The total diamond weight is approx. 2.90 ctw.
The BALLERINA SETTINGS of the larger diamonds measures 9.3 mm in diameter. The earrings measure 15/16” long and the total weight is 5.6 grams. PERFECT FOR EVERYDAY WEAR … WITH JEANS or DRESSED UP ...
