Wonderful antique brooch made by master artisan Thomas L. Mott. This is Mott at his best. It’s a butterfly wing used to create a colorful bird through paint and glass. It’s indicative of his dichroic mastery with glass and organic material, set in sterling silver.

This brooch is museum quality for his work and is a paradigm of Mott’s creations. We just picked up a lot of his work and will have it listed shortly. Happy to make a deal on all or some of it.
