This is a lovely delicate brooch with a heart shaped charm dangling from a bow. The bow is a gold toned metal and the faceted heart is an amethyst colored rhinestone or gemstone set in a gold edge frame. The heart is approximately 5/8 of an inch wide at the top. The bow on the brooch measures approximately 1 inch wide. The entire brooch is 1 1/4 inches from the top of the bow to the bottom of the heart. It is unmarked and I don’t know if the heart shaped stone is faux amethyst or real. The front side of the heart has a flat center surface and the back side center comes to a point.

It is in nice vintage condition with a lovely patina on the gold metal finish. I have taken many enlarged photographs so you can see the details and condition for yourself. In the enlarged photos it appears that some of the gold finish has rubbed off, but you don't see that without magnification. I did not polish this as many people prefer the older patina. I will leave any cleaning up to you. The pin closes nicely with a rollover clasp and is secure. It really is a beautiful little pin, you won't be disappointed.
