Where can we find a seller's policies on returns, refunds, exchanges before we buy from them.

I read in Bonanza’s Legal section that, I, as a Buyer am responsible for reviewing a Seller’s policies before I purchase in order to know my subsequent courses of actions with problems. However, I have been unable to find a particular Seller’s policies in his “Booth” and they will not answer emails sent to them. Could someone tell me where I should be looking for such information?

A good way of judging a seller is how quickly they answer you. If they dont have their booth on vacation, and they are not answering you…..Personally, and this is my opinion only…. I would not purchase from them.

Sparkles_Jewelry Agreed! It’s unfortunate that there are sellers who post their items and ditch their booth. I would not purchase either.

Have to agree. if the seller is already not answering inquiries from potential buyers that is not a good sign

I would not purchase from any seller unwilling to even communicate. what were you looking to purchase? maybe a more responsive seller has it?

When you are in the person’s booth, on the left side you should see “BOOTH DETAILS”. Check there for their policies.

Another thing is that you can click on their profile and see the last date that they were in their booth. ( [URL removed] [URL removed] )

Also, you will find a lot of sellers that don’t or forgot to fill in their policies for shipping/ returns/ etc

Go to booth page

If the seller filled out their policies…then it will show under booth details (under the avatar) as Policequilts says…and unfortunately, many sellers do not bother

See ccmom's booth

Policequilts is right go to the Booth details section, ccmom’s very helpful graphic shows you where.
Unless it has been changed not all profiles are marked available to view; a policy that I disagree with here; especially for sellers.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
